Supporters from across Lorain County and beyond are invited to join State Representative Joe Miller and Brian Baker for their 2026 Campaign Kickoff on Thursday, December 11, 2025, from 6:30–8:30 p.m. at Bricklayers Hall, 8497 Leavitt Road, South Amherst.

The event will officially launch Joe Miller’s campaign for the Ohio Senate and Brian Baker’s campaign for Lorain County Commissioner, bringing together a coalition of community leaders, volunteers, and voters eager to support candidates committed to building a stronger, fairer Ohio.

The evening will feature an exciting lineup of special guests, including Former U.S. Congressman Tim Ryan, who is expected to share a major announcement soon, and Former Ohio House Minority Leader and current Ohio Secretary of State candidate Allison Russo, who will offer remarks on the importance of strong leadership at every level of government.

In addition to Miller and Baker, several other Democratic candidates for statehouse and county offices will be on hand with petitions available to sign!

“This event is about unity, community, and our shared vision for the future of Ohio,” said Miller. “We’re building momentum to bring real results for working families.”

Baker added, “Lorain County deserves leaders who will listen, act, and deliver. This campaign is about doing what’s right for our residents and communities.”
